Resume Genie is an AI-powered application designed to support job seekers throughout the resume preparation and job application process. The platform integrates multiple career assistance features, including resume checking, resume scoring, cover letter generation, and AI-powered career coaching.
The Resume Checker helps users review their resume content and identify potential areas for improvement. The Cover Letter Generator assists in creating customized cover letters, while the Resume Scorer evaluates resumes using the assessment criteria implemented in the application. The AI Career Coach provides career-related guidance and supports users in navigating job search and professional development questions.
The application is developed using a structured workflow that includes system architecture design, environment configuration, feature implementation, application integration, and testing. A Streamlit-based interface brings the different modules together into a unified user experience. The completed application is then deployed on AWS, demonstrating the development and hosting of a Generative AI-powered career assistance platform.
The project provides practical exposure to Generative AI, natural language processing, AI-assisted content generation, resume evaluation, Python-based application development, and cloud deployment.
